About Me
The opinions that I state here are no one's but my own and
have absolutely no illusions that I'm going to be able to get along with
everyone - but I do like to try.
Music
Music is truly my identity and my love - if I won the
lottery today, playing music is what I'd be doing. Period. . I've been a saxophonist for roughly 23 years at this
point, and made my living doing it for about 5,142 years (well okay, it was
really nine - but it certainly FELT like 5,142 years). It was my career
path before forging ahead with computers. I still play professionally, but
this is not my sole source of income anymore, and over the years, I've developed
an extreme dislike for the music industry and the way it treats its
artists.
If for some bizarre reason you're curious as to what I
sound like, I have a couple of live clips of myself that I recorded in late
2001. One is an excerpt of the song, "September", and the other
is from "Play That Funky Music". Sorry for the bad sound mix.

That Funky Music (about 1 meg)
I've done some touring in Europe and in Japan and have
recorded on some albums that no one would ever know or hear about. It's
certainly opened up a lot of doors that I wouldn't have had otherwise, and am
very grateful for what I've been given.
